Humor is one of those things in life which defies analysis ; cause its either you have it or you don't, and either you enjoy it or you don't. Humor is an art form.

Now now..

Why DO  we laugh?

source

Causeeeeeeee comedy can be used to talk about things that we normally don't, and it can be used to talk about things from a different perspective. Comedy is not meant to be taken seriously, thus comedians have the ability to say things that in other circumstances could not be mentioned. Make sense?
PARODIES. or spoof. the art of turning or mimicking an original work into something much funnier.. and entertaining at times. Some can be really dumb and insulting though.
IM SURE YOU WATCHED THIS AS A KID.
If you're a local surfer on youtube and a fan of entertainment and laughs, this Ventriloquism is another form of comedy! If you do not know Achmed the Dead Terrorist.. I feel sorry for you. But yes this is one of the newest videos Jeff Dunham posted recently.
I swear this is my brother's fault. He is the sole reason I knew wrestling as a child. But yes thanks to that I knew the funnyman Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. A professional wrestler who moved into the film industry  in 2004. Most of his movies are hilarious. The Rundown..Journey to Mysterious Island..Be cool! . . .oh not you. above ^^^^
I dont know if blooper is a form of comedy but some are really really hilarious. Like Jackie Chan's blooper scenes AHAHAHA. Does anyone rememebr The Tuxedo? cause i do. P:
Tom Hiddleston ;) He does Impressions.  It is the act which consists of imitating the voice and mannerisms of others which he does impression pretttyy darn welllll Especially Snape (Alan Rickman) AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH he can also rap, and his voice... sighhh~

ahem.
so above are the few comedies I have selected from youtube over 3872462734234 more videos! Thank you for reading.

Picture
The sitter is merely the accident, the occasion. It is not he who is revealed by the painter; it is rather the painter who, on the coloured canvas, reveals himself. The reason I will not exhibit this picture is that I am afraid that I have shown in it the secret of my own soul.

Ahem.
So here's a little re-update on my research also what I know about "Self Portraits"

So what do I understand about self portraits? To me I think of it as direct as it can be. A portrait of yourself. May it be an extravagant portrait of how you see and imagine yourself, wild and bizarre or perhaps you stick to reality by realism. I've tend to ponder sometimes why would someone paint a portrait of themselves? Self admiration? Vanity? Or something that you could leave behind, to prove they exist? Perhaps during the old times, before the Industrial Revolution (before 1500s) and a self portrait is the only way to capture an image of something, or a person. Then again, whatever reason the artist might think he or she had for the painting, with art as the writing, the act of creation always reveals something about the creator. The self-portrait becomes the reflection of their own identity, thus the awakening the awakening of its artistic values.Ta-daaaaaaaaa.

Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853 – 1890)

Think about a ‘tormented artist’ and one of the first names that come to mind is likely to be Van Gogh. This Dutch post-impressionist is probably as well known for the ‘cutting-his-own-ear-off’ incident (which may or may not have happened as reported) as he is for his considerable body of work. One of the characteristics of his paintings is the sunny yellow ambiance that infuses them. Van Gogh indulged heavy in absinthe, a drink known to produce ‘yellow vision’ in addicts. The drug digitalis, which he is also believed to have taken, would also produce ‘yellow vision’. Interestingly and strangely enough, Van Gogh never seems to look directly at his ‘audience’ in his self-portraits.

Claude Oscar Monet (1840 – 1926)

Monet was a founder of the French impressionist style of painting, which is based on the artist conveying his perceptions of the subject rather than a precise likeness. The term ‘impressionism’ is in fact derived from the title of Monet’s painting ‘Impression, Sunrise’. As his career developed Monet was plagued by cataracts in his eyes. These reduce vision and can make things appear blurry and ‘out-of-focus’. It is hard to know how much his signature style of softly blurred images owes to artistic vision and how much to his cataract problems. In later life was he interpreting the world in an impressionistic way or simply reflecting the distorted version of it that he actually saw ?

Adolf Hitler (1889 – 1945)

And here, as they say, is a man who needs no introduction. I think we’re all pretty familiar with his main claims to fame (or infamy) but one of his lesser known aspirations was to be an artist. This watercolor is thought to be the earliest self-portrait by Adolf Hitler, painted in 1910 when the future Fuhrer was 21 and struggling to make his mark on the art world. The figure is strangely anonymous, with no nose or mouth yet Hitler was keen to identify himself by daubing a cross and the initials AH above it. The loneliness of someone who cannot connect with the world around him or the people in it rests on the surface of the self-portrait. Perhaps this was just a romantic vision Hitler had of himself, or perhaps it was a genuine expression of a deeper alienation.

Gasps, cause I never knew. Silly me :3

LAUGHS ON THE CONTRARY, I did a pretty bad job for a first work in class for the self portrait. Frankly speaking, it was not one of my best days. I'll make up for that I promise!!
So, we were suppose to incorporate 'nature' into our self-portraits and yeahhh.. bad job. nuff said.
